St. Thomas Library Staff Going Above and Beyond During COVID-19

Some groups may have gone on hiatus during a pandemic. Not our librarians. While the doors at the St. Thomas Public Library may be closed they are still hard at working meeting the needs of our community by leveraging their resources, technology and know-how to help out on a variety of different levels. From helping with online learning, to giving tech help over the phone, to setting up Community Help Connect with the City of St. Thomas, Ontario, to 3D printing comfort items for frontline workers, to recording and uploading story time videos to their social media accounts. Our librarians are here for us!

Grayden Laing chatted with Aaron DeVries, the St. Thomas Public Library Manager for Digital & Support Services last week about all the hard work that is going on at the library while the doors are closed.

There was a lot to talk about, so this is an edited version of the chat with additional visuals for your enjoyment!
