In this edition of St. Thomas Tonight with Dan Reith (Reith & Associates Insurance and Financial Services Limited) and Grayden Laing (Establish Media) we talked about three main topics as well as what was brought up by viewers
First, we discussed the declaration of emergency in Aylmer for the Nov 7th anti-Covid rally. Nothing in the order seems to actually prevent a peaceful assembly, so it appears to set the stage for limiting the municipalities liability while also allowing them to access additional government funding, if needed, to properly safe guard the assembly, eg. maybe cover the cost for additional peace officers.
