Patios are back! Existing patios in the City are opening up again. The St. Thomas Downtown Development Board is also supporting five downtown businesses to build patios. Soon, you will be able to visit Bella Jacks Mexican Cantina, Streamliners Espresso Bar, Why Not Cookies Cafe, The Bistro, the St. Thomas Roadhouse and enjoy their new patios. Joe Preston – Mayor ST.Thomas Ontario told us that the City wants to support businesses to re-open. One way they are going to do this is to make the decision making process for patio applications quicker, by streamlining them through the Chief Building Officer, until January 2021.
