Element5 Co. is investing $35 million in a 20-acre property that will house a new 125,000 square-foot building and provide 50 new local full-time jobs.

“One of the keys for the choosing St. Thomas was our ability to produce and distribute finished product.” – Bob Hammersley, St. Thomas & District Chamber of Commerce President & CEO

Element5 has chosen a site on Dennis Road in St. Thomas to manufacture and distribute their cross-laminated timber products used in the construction of commercial buildings. Their primary reasons for doing so are it’s central location, access to the U.S. market, proximity to the GTA, solid local infrastructure with fully serviced land, and easy access for product shipment via rail and truck. All of these combined to make St. Thomas the right choice for Element5.
