This week, the City of St. Thomas, Ontario, Ontario is holding a third Toronto Raptors Jurassic Park at the Memorial Auditorium on Thursday, June 13th. City Council also covered a lot of things this week. The City has approved seed funding to help develop a Homelessness Shelter program. -The property standards by-law was updated (fines can now be applied to owners who don’t comply). -There is a new tidy lot by-law – 5 Different Public meetings for changing/writing by-laws were held. Welcome to our weekly series, The Railway City Mayor's Update with our Mayor, Joe Preston – Mayor ST.Thomas Ontario. This week, the City of St. Thomas, Ontario is holding a Toronto Raptors Jurassic Park on Moore Street in the downtown core! (Beside Legends Tavern) It's going to be epic – so don't miss it! Our Jurassic Park is happening through a collaboration with the city and several of our other community members: 94.1 myFM, Wendy's, Doug Tarry Homes, Century Sound Sales And Service, and Rogers. We're chipping in our AV experience and setting up a massive screen to watch the show on. The St. Anne's Community Festival also kicks of today – so don't miss that either. The St Thomas Police Service celebrated their service dog Axle's birthday.
