Central Community Health Centre (CCHC) hosted a Fall Fair on October 26th at Hepburn Park from noon to 4:00pm. It included a free BBQ, children’s games, pumpkin carving, face painting, popcorn, cotton candy, and flu shots and health information on our mobile health clinic. Over 100 people participated and CCHC looks forward to offering this event yearly.

The event was part of our participation in Health and Wellbeing Week (CHWW) which is an annual campaign coordinated by the Alliance for Healthier Communities. Every year during CHWW, members of the Alliance mount a wide range of communication activities and special events to bring attention to the health issues that are important to our communities. The Week also provides an opportunity to highlight and celebrate the great work that Alliance members do to achieve the best possible health and wellbeing for everyone living in Ontario.

Central Community Health Centre is located at 359 Talbot St. and offers primary health care (Physicians and Nurse Practitioners) as well as Allied Health Services including social work, physiotherapy, chiropractic, dietitian, and chiropody and community development programs.

The clinic is accepting new patients, just drop by and fill out an application.
